Most of my life, I have trained dogs. I absolutely love working dogs and have had some amazing dogs, but when it came to my daughter wanting a dog to show and train, we were looking at smaller, trainable dogs with a happy personality. Panda was our first Lagotto, and she had super drive and a tail that never stopped wagging. She was a great ambassador for the breed.

While Panda sadly left this world way too early, we currently have two of her daughters and one granddaughter. They are all delightful dogs and amazing workers, with at least as much drive as my previous working dogs. When I am not playing with my own dogs, I play with other people's dogs. As a full-time dog trainer, I have trained in excess of 100 Lagottos, and I love their quirky personalities and strong drive. Their cute teddy bear look does work against them, as some people don't realise that they are the happiest when they have a job to do.
